I have Linux running on an RS6K running SuSE PPC 7.1 and I understand that it also runs on the s390. TurboLinux also runs on the z-series, but I found their $5,000 price tag somewhat less appealing than SuSE's $60 fee. The $1/day installation support was worth the price of admission for me and the SuSE mailing lists were invaluable.

A good place to look is

I learned here that I should add RedHat to the list.

http://www-1.ibm.com/linux/ is also a good site to browse.

Be warned, though. The minute I installed Linux on my B50 my IBM disavowed all knowledge of me, said I violated all of my warranties and left me for dead. When IBM says they support Linux, they pretty much mean they support AIX 5L.
