[LUNI] Connecting Access to MySQL on Linux

I have Linux running MySQL and some XP boxes with Access 2000 and the latest MyODBC. I have added the XP host names to MySQL and given them permissions, created a system DSN to attach to the Linux server (using the Samba server name) and I get an error that says 'Host 192.168.xxx.xxx not allowed to connect to this MySQL server'. 

I have seen this error posted on a number of mailing lists, but I haven't seen anyone post the solution.

If anyone has an answer, I promise to post it for the next person :)
