[LUNI] DVD player for linux

I just downloaded libcss, oms and omi.  The libcss install went OK, the
oms install needed some work... paths were messed up.  But it appeared to
install, however, the config.log indicated that the cposix library was
missing or something (that was listed as a requirement for the
compile).  I have oms_shell in /usr/local/bin, but it doesn't appear to do
much of anything.  Furthermore, omi will not install because it either
cannot find oms_shell or oms_shell didn't compile correctly.

So, my question is... are there anymore alternatives to livid out
there?  Is there any commerical software for linux that'll let me run
DVDs?
