[LUNI] new kernel causes system to freeze

Hey...
I recompiled my kernel (2.4.7-10) for a new driver I
have.  It compiles fine, seems to boot fine.  As soon
as it begins to start x, it freezes.  It will show the
PS1 prompt first, the screen flashes a couple times,
and then the whole system freezes. Any ideas? I
checked the kernel config and I don't see any missed
options. Thanks.
