Raid 5 isn't a mirror, so it doesn't take as much space. Raid 5 keeps logs
instead of mirroring. There will be a performance hit for using Raid 5, so
you have to weigh that against your need for more disk space. You usually
don't want to use Raid 5 when there a lot of transactions involved.
