Try loosing the "n" and call it eth0
You can add/modify/delete your network devices and settings from the desktop
with a Red Hat utility called `netcfg`. You can execute it from any xterm.

EFnet REQUIRES an identd daemon be actively running on the connecting
machine, or you can use an irc client that has an identd built-in, like KVirc
version 3 from their cvs server. It's important to note, that whichever you
choose to do, to NOT run both, as they will conflict when trying to bind to
