It shouldn't send them. It should (IMO) ignore them. But it SHOULDN'T slap
a @charon.dnsalias.net on them and call it good. Although, now it occurs to
me maybe it's the client that's doing the slapping. I'll have to do a
little more testing.
The bottom line is that the problem is with the sending client or MTA for
not using a legit address in the first place, I guess (I've noticed it w/
Lookout, but there might be others). So I guess maybe I was barking up the
wrong tree. Next time I see one like that I'll check out what it looks like
pre-pine in the spool.
