[LUNI] Partition question

I have got a dumb question to ask.  Is there a limit to the number of
partitions you can create on a disk besides the amount of disk space?
I have a 20Gig disk where I installed RH6.2.  I was using DRUID to 
partition the disk.  I created 12 partitions, when I tried to create
the next partition, I gave me an error even though I still had over
6Gig left.
