If the other partition is entirely available, just mount it on (or use a
symlink from) /var/mail.  Of course you'll need to stop sendmail and user
access for a brief period to copy the existing mailboxes to the new
partition before making the change, but staying up until 2AM to do that sort
of thing is how real sysadmins get that unhealthy pallor.  :-)

I'm sure you could coax sendmail into delivering elsewhere, but getting the
POP server pointed there as well... why make yourself change multiple things
(assuming they work now, aside from running out of space) when you don't
need to?  Pallor is one thing; working harder than necessary is quite
another.
