[LUNI] PHP Pause, Any Gurus out there

I'm using PHP script that I picked up off the net that takes the input
from a form and sends it via email to a specified address. After the
submission the page redirects you to another page. It worked great for a
while but now there seems to be an exactly 80 second pause between the time
you hit submit and the redirection.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
Actually, I've started having simular problems with several things (including
the PHP thing) all about the same time that I think may be related to the IP
Masquerading that I run on one of my machines. I use telnet (I know I know
but it's internal only) to control several headless machines I have on my
internal network at home. One day I tried to connect to the machine that's
masqurading from a recently installed Win98 machine and had to wait forever
for a login prompt. Tried to do it from my Mac....same thing. Both machines
are masqueraded by the Linux box. Changed the IP on the Mac to an
unmasqueraded one. Login prompt popped up immediately and has worked fine
ever since.
Also when I try to hit web pages on the masquerading box from the Win98 box
it takes forever to get a response from Apache yet the Mac hitting the same
page works fine with either an external IP or an internal one.
I know this isn't all the information that's needed to resolve this, but I
have no idea what info to forward as these problems to me are seemingly
unrelated except for the very thin IP masquerading connection.
