[LUNI] Python win32 pythonservice.exe resources

I know this isn't a Linux question, but:

Does anyone know why the PythonService.exe for Python Win32 pegs the CPU
at 100% whenever it runs an active part of a Python service on
WindowsNT? I have gotten my service to minimize the amount of time it
takes to run a specific operation, but it always runs at 100% when it is
running.
