I noticed the rpm conflict too today.  Got a little worried when it wanted 
to un-install apt.  I was looking too for an update apt to handle this rpm 
update but didn't see one yet...

Yeah, that mime.mime conflict was strange.  I don't remember how I got 
around that one.  I recall I reinstalled the magic package or upgrade the 
magic package to a higher version to get rid of the message.
