[LUNI] Mandrake and Compaq 5300 RAID controller

I have a Compaq ML370 with a 5300 SmartArray controller and I came
across a bit of a problem. It installs just fine, but when it reboots it
dies because the /dev listing doesn't match what's in fstab:

fstab:
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1 /

/dev:
/dev/cciss/disc0/part1 /

During the boot process, it tries to fsck the drives because it doesn't
recognize anything and drops to the rescuee filesystem mode. I would
think that I could just change the entries in /etc/fstab to match what
is in /dev, but it's mounted ro and I can't edit anything to make a
permanent change.

Another tidbit: the /dev is the virtual devFS. Presumably I could change
the info in here to match fstab, but where do you change it to make it
permanent (/dev is a memory-based filesystem like /proc)
