[LUNI] OpenLDAP

I am just starting out with OpenLDAP, and I know that there are already
several mailing lists specifically for this subject, but I have received
so much excellent help from this list that I thought I would give it a
shot.

I have setup OpenLDAP, and it appears that the "server" itself is
working correctly.  However, I have no clue what I am dong with setting
up schemas and stuff so I have downloaded and installed LDAPBrowser
which is a java-based ldif editor that interfaces directly to the
server.  My problem is that the only way that I can seem to connect is
anonymously.  I know what the "master" password is, but I have no idea
what to use for the username and I am receiving "invalid user" trying to
connect.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
