I converted to Fluxbox this week, on both my laptop and my mainframe. Got tired
of the approx. 1 minute for Gnome or KDE to load. Fluxbox comes up in less than
3 seconds. The menus have everything I need.

I hope to get one sided answer 'cuz i don't really want to try out both, although i have a feeling that there is a fair distribution of both the desktops. If it helps I am a hardcore windows user, and want to completely quit using it. So i will use linux for everything, from developing to listening to music, watching dvds. to surfing... you get the picture.

over the ruins, Cockroaches feasting on the blackened ashes, and somewhere
an IBM PC saying "Abort, Retry, Ignore -- Abort, Retry, Ignore -- Abort... "
