I don't think that's the case. I have a 'Trash' folder on my IMAP account
which is being used by Evolution, Mozilla mail, Squirrelmail, and kmail.
Mozilla mail and squirrelmail even default to using a remote Trash folder.
And I don't recall configuring Evolution to use the Trash folder either. I
think it uses the remote Trash folder if it already exists (I'm using
1.0.8 that comes with RH 8.)
Try the following steps to see if Evolution will pick it up
1. Create a Trash Folder on the IMAP server
2. Recreate the evolution profile.
I see lines like:
<entry name="vtrash_imap___fawad at mail.fawad.dom_Trash" type="boolean"
value=
"0"/>
<entry name="imap___fawad at mail.fawad.dom_INBOX_Trash" type="boolean"
value="
0"/>
in my config.xmldb file. I wonder if the first line is causing it to use
the remote trash folder.
