[LUNI] postscript files

Two hopefully quick questions...

Is it possible to cat 2 single page postscript documents together to
make one 2-page document?   I mean, I tried the following:

$ cat page1.eps page2.eps > doc.eps

but even though there were no errors, looking at doc.eps in gv showed
only page1.eps.   What am I doing wrong?

And if I can get a postscript file, what should I do to convert the
final version to pdf if ps2pdf segfaults?
