Linux Weekly News (http://lwn.net) recently had to rennovate their online
purchasing system and you might be able to find some worthwhile info there.
If you're interested, look through the front pages of the weekly editions for
the past couple of months. (All of the previous weekly additions are free
except for the most recent one.) I recall that they at least discussed
companies that should be avoided at any cost and companies that they had good
experiences with.
While I'm at it, I'll take the opportunity to plug Linux Weekly News. They
put out what I think is a very good weekly summary of events pertaining to
Linux. They have been struggling to survive lately and have moved to a
subscriber-based system, in hopes of staying alive. I advocate checking out
a recent weekly edition and, if you like what you see, consider subscribing.
Subscriptions are very inexpensive.
I am not affiliated with LWN in any way beyond being a long-time reader and a
recent subscriber.
