Microsoft's pockets are fairly deep; everyone has a price (if people want to
admit this is another story); how many governmental, law, millitary (and the
list goes on any one) offices use microsoft windows and other microsoft
applications?. I wonder what Microsoft has threatened to these governmental
offices and what would happen if they ever lost a serious case? Come to
think of it, I wonder if Microsoft has ever had to buy anyone off, or if the
threats are powerful enough?
Wake up and smell the coffee. Microsoft is never going to lose any
significant case. Microsoft is a monopoly and it continues to get worse.
Now, because of how many governmental branches rely on Microsoft, everything
would be screwed if Microsoft got canned. This is the world in which
Microsoft owns and runs --- like it or not.
