Meah. It's silly, deserving of ridicule and not much more.

The only problem I see with the lawsuit is if it causes some uninformed PHB-type (kinda like Dvorak) to re-consider deploying Linux because of what he fears might happen with the suit. Microsoft tried to compound that fear by licensing code from SCO very recently, thus giving the appearance that SCO's cliams are legitimate. They's tricksy, they are.
It would be unfortunate if this slowed Linux adoption in business settings, but I don't expect it to be more than a temporary drop (just until IBM's lawyers pile-drive SCO), if there is a drop at all.
