[LUNI] can't install jrun under linux - PLEASE HELPJeff Gutierrez jeff at mapua.orgFri Jun 27 15:48:02 CDT 2003
#[poorav at alpha jrun]$ ./jrun-40-linux-en.bin #Preparing to install... #WARNING: /tmp does not have enough disk space! # Attempting to use /home/poorav for install base and tmp dir. #Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive... #Configuring the installer for this system's environment... # #Launching installer... # #Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/zerog/lax/LAX # # #I have searched long and hard to find a solution for this and everywhere the #cause seems to point towards setting up the correct PATH and JAVA_HOME #variables. I am pretty sure i have them set correctly. do i need to set any #CLASSPATH variables as well? # You don't have to since all the files are in the binary file. But the installer's probably expecting the classes to be in /tmp; they're not in your case. Add /home/poorav or whatever the installer created in your home directory. If it doesn't work, try installing jrun via the commandline (zerog is GUI installer.) HTH jeff -- -- Jeff Gutierrez (jeff at gutierrez.ph) Pinoy Ako! May reklamo?
