The first taste, yes, that's always free... <evil grin>
One thing the wiki could use is a short description and a few "most
[often] useful" links for most of the distributions. This can
eventually be part of an answer to the common questions about which
distro is best, saving us a lot of pointless rehashing. I did a
sketchy entry for Debian, and someone did one for Slackware (was that
you, Geoff?), but there are plenty of others. Oh, and the list of
distros is itself subject to change, of course. :-)
Speaking of who-to-praise-(or-blame), if y'all want to take a moment to
hit the UserPreferences page, you can sign in and, for the cost of one
rarely-changed cookie, be known. There's something in the server setup
that makes the shorter URL not work with that right away, so you may
not see your name in the page header until you've hit a link. Right, I
should send seva a copy of the config bits - the local wiki doesn't
have that behavior...
