I am trying to mount a samba share (from a win 2k server) into one of the
user folders on my RH 7.3 machine. The entry for the mount is in the
/etc/fstab file, and the share mounts fine during boot up. but the only
problem is that all the files and folders that are mounted are mounted with
the rwxr-xr-x permissions. Now if i log in as the user, unmount the share
and mount it again, then it mounts as rwxrwxr-x. These are the permissions I
would like for the mounted file system when the machine boots up.
Any ideas as to what would solve this problem.
