Yea, o verily yea. 'Tis the time to dance joyfully and without care, Linuxfest is upon us once
more. And Oh, Oh, what a Linuxfest we have for you this time round ladies, gentleman, and those in
between, what a Linuxfest we have for you indeed. The Linuxfest is back on track for once a month
again after some minor irregularities. We have a couple of scheduled events, so have your
chronometers at the ready.

In 2063 (the one without the projector) we'll be doing installs all day as usual.

In 2061 as well as the usual showing off of stuff, there will be a couple of presentations.

11am - We'll have a presentation on VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) by Yossi Nieman. This is
something that is really starting to catch peoples attention, as companies like Vonage are making
headway into the consumer market.

Noonish - Break for lunch, whether spiritual or physical.

1pm - Mike Crawford will be showing us authentication with LDAP and Kerberos. LDAP the current
darling of db, being used for addressbooks, NIS replacement, DNS replacement, and as here a common
authentication source.

We would ask that anyone wishing to talk during the presentations, either move to 2063 for the
duration, or the snack area, manners cost nothing and all that.

You may now go forth, and dance around Utopia naked.

Standard Linuxfest bumph follows, directions at http://luni.org/fest/

The Place: the Berg Instructional Center, opposite where the computer show is, look for the
penguin signs, or find rooms 2061 and 2063.

The Time: 10am - 3pm of course we have to set stuff up, so we may not be firing on all cylinders
until 10.30 or so, depending on who gets out their bed in time.

The Point: To cure your linux ills, to bring joy to all, and to go eat food afterwards and to
convince Seva that it's OK to pose naked for Linux Journal.

Note for those who are bringing their computers, rather than just hanging out, you can drive right
up to the backdoor of the Berg IC to unload your equipment, it's a lot easier. Just enter the
college of 22nd Street. DO NOT PARK your car here or you will get ticketed / towed, but they seem
to tolerate loading and unloading.

Of course, if you just want to hang out with people who actually get the 'How many windows users
does it take to change a lightbulb' joke, thats fine too, we seem to spend swathes of time just
sitting around and chewing the penguin fat.

Remember we have bathrooms, we have vending machines with candy, soda, coffee, and a comfy seating area.
