[LUNI] Iptables question

Hi guys,

I hope I am not asking a question that many before me
have done allready.  I setup a firewall at my lab
using iptables and I want to allow my home machine to
have access.  I have SBC Ameritech DSL which of course
allocates an IP dynamically to my computer and also
hides any DNS suffices (domain_not_set.invalid)  By
running 'host' against the ip from the lab's linux
server it appears that the hostname of my machine is a
derivative of the actual IP address it has been
allocated.  Is it possible to allow my home machine
pass through the firewall without having to go to the
lab and reconfigure every time I reboot my home
machine?
