Hey all,
I just upgraded my wireless network tonight, replaced my old netgear
WAP with a Apple Airport Extreme and Airport Express. My network is
setup as a 192.168.13.x network, but since I set up WDS on my Airport
equipment, my wireless devices are on a 192.168.14.x network.
Now, the two networks are talking to each other just fine except for
Samba. I can't get the samba shares from my Linux box to show up on my
Powerbook (where before I upgraded the network I could). I added the
.14 network to my smb.conf under hosts allow and remote announce, and
I've restarted the samba server each time. Still can't see the shares.
So I'm thinking there's something else I need to configure for it to
get to the .14 network (the Linux box has a .13 address).
Any ideas?
Thanks ahead of time,
Tom
