Mike Thank you for the response.
1. I had tried it under Superuser. Several times.
2. Then I tried under the user account. (Office and Lawyer)
3. ultimately I gave up and issued lprm - under superuser and it
deleted the job on the top. And I issued it again and it deleted the 2nd
job that I wanted to delete.
4. I had also restarted lpd service several times in an effort to
delete it.

see any responses to your posting. So, I have a suggestion. lprm will
only
delete jobs which the account you are under has authority to delete.
Have you
tried running lprm from an account with superuser authority such as
root?
