Yes, you can stack these units.  Just ensure that you don't block airflow 
from either the front, or the rear of the units.  You can stack these on a 
shelf, leave them on the floor under a desk, or anywhere, as long as you 
have sufficient power and air flow.  Just watch the dusty places, and 
don't smoke around them.  Poor little overworked fans!
