That looks like a handy tool.  Of course, if I was just interested in 
filesystem access, I'd have it in the form of several LiveCD Linux 
distros.  I don't think BartsPE allows a system rollback as though one 
were working with a fully operational Windows XP system, judging by what 
I've been able to find.  Does it?

In any case, it's a moot point now.  The problem came up two months ago, 
and was solved two months ago.  I'll have to get BartsPE for my toolkit, 
to go with the other ninety-some software tools I use, but I'm not sure 
it would have been of any use for the specific problem I was having.
