The only thing that should be close to "just works" is prism54. If you
move to a stock Debian 2.6 kernel, the driver should be there, but
you'll still need to grab the firmware file, and maybe make a quick
change to hotplug. That part is easy, and well documented at prism54.org.
From there, you need a card supprted by prism54. The only one I was
able to find where I could buy it off the shelf and not worry about
whether is was revision A with the chipset I wanted or revision B with a
completely different chipset, or other silliness, was this guy:
