The equivalent to the gigantic Debian tree is Fedora Extras. We're
trying to make Core a more minimal install, and let people maintain all
sorts of other packages in Extras. LPRng would be one package that could
be added to Extras, although, you'd have to be a serious masochist to
volunteer to fix the LPRng bugs. Thats why we dropped it for cups in the
first place, it wasn't buggy, it was infested.
