Something of which I'm not aware, but about which I've been curious, is
the upgrade opportunity offered for RHEL. What's the fee cost for
upgrading from one RHEL version to another (if any)? If it doesn't cost
anything in addition to ongoing support fees, or if the upgrade fee is
fairly negligible, I'd say that the actual support life of a given
version is probably immaterial for RHEL -- whereas it's extremely
important for Windows, where upgrades always cost, and usually roughly
the same as buying from scratch.
