Well put, thank you.  Looks like it's time to upgrade.

The Subversion WebDAV capabilities (which recommend Apache 2.0) were what
I was specifically interested in, but I had a lot of stable apps on built
on 1.3.  Since I'm rebuilding the box anyway, I'll just start fresh with
2.x.
