I'm currently using the latest version of CentOS which I believe is based on
RedHat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 4. I had upgrade to the lastest kernel
which is 2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp. From what I've seen, 3ware support wasn't
available directly from CentOS until a few months ago (I'd guess at half a
year or so). CentOS 4.3 was apparently the first to offer it, but not
initially. As far as I can tell, everything is up to date, unless the
version the CentOS team is using is out of date.
