So I can be expecting your c.v. soon, I take it? :P

In light of this post however, I'll explain a little more about our environment.

First off, I'm just the Senior System Administrator there, so all I do
is keep the machines running happily.

You see, this company takes a very nice stance on a subject very near
and dear to my heart - Open Source.
All of our servers are running either Debian or Red Hat Linux. All us
"geeks" in the office run Linux. We use Open Source wherever we can
simply becase we are all Open Source fans, and not because of any
associated costs. We've recently migrated everyone to Open Office and
Firefox in preperation for a Linux desktop migration. The company has
let me borrow hardware such as switches, cables, data projector,
etc... for presentations I've given at my LUG - ChLUE. The company
also encourages us to submit our own modifications and patches back to
the projects we use.

Anyway, any Open Source fan would enjoy working here, which is why I
suggested posting here to my boss, and why I then did so with my own
LUNI account.

But that's cool - go work for Microsoft or SCO if you'd rather. ;)
