I've 'fixed' an errant "ABS" indicator light like that a few times myself.

As for APs, I jsut replaced a Linksys on which the wireless portion will
lock up about once a day.  The LAN activity light keeps flickering away, but
the radio just drops out.  A quick power-cycle always brought it back, but
it had to go. . . .
