[LUNI] Networking question

Ramin,
 
 I tried everything mentioned including:
 
  /sbin/ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.24 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255

Did you try any of the above. Replacing gear that works after a reboot 
seems a bit extreme at this point.
