Okay, so that was fascinating. If you've ever been standing by yourself,
mildly ill, with flyers in your hand, with hundreds of people passing you by
with very little productivity actually ocurring, then you know **EXACTLY**
what I did the past 5 hours. Not fun. This is, of course, not to complain,
but to illustrate that I can't really pull this off by myself. There's only
so much that a fat bearded geek can accomplish on a single given Tuesday, and
I think I've done all I can by myself.
I'm at home now, and hoping that we can get enough people together to actually
do a second round. The day is young, and I've still got more than 3,500
leaflets remaining (wow, I got a great price on that), and we could
definately go out and get something done.
If we want to talk strategy, I say we make a move at all major train stations
starting around 3:30PM and chill there until 5:30PM. Hazmat suits will be
warm, so if we do this make sure you dress with that in mind.
I'm also interested in seeing if we could get something going on Saturday.
I've heard a lot of "man, if it just wasn't on a Tuesday" talk, so I'll bite.
I'm sure Peter Brown and FSF won't be too heartbroken if we do something
then, too.
IF YOU want to participate, PLEASE REPLY. I REALLY don't feel like spending
another 5 hours by myself explaining DRM to old men. I don't mind old men,
and I don't mind explaining DRM, and I don't even mind explaining DRM to old
men, but it's much easier to do it if I'm not the only one.
Thanks all!
