Easy there, I'm not the one that send the ical file.
and remember Linux is about choice.. you can set it up to import stuff in
automoatically or have it prompt you for it, or completely ignore it.
As to your second point, that's part of the reason why I mentioned the
calendar website. So we'd use the website instead of icals.
