Ya, that was me. Ichthux is built off of Kubuntu, however we work hand-in-hand
with Ubuntu Core Devs, as most of us are Ubuntu developers or Debian
developers, and we work with Debian as well. We work with Bibletime and the
Sword group. We are working to make an entire OSS solution, which
DansGuardian won't be one due to the licensing and what not, but the Edubuntu
crew has created "willowng" which flat out rocks and we are working on now.
So if you are a bible thumper like myself, and enjoy KDE, then Ichthux is the
way to go. Future releases will rock, as we will be developed and maintained
right along side of the Ubuntu project and we even use the Ubuntu repos.

I think it is great, and I would love to see more people do something similar.
I may not wholeheartedly agree in a belief, but I will back pretty much any
OSS project there is. Like the guy they had on the Military channel the other
night. He is hosting terroristic videos and what not and is even an Islamic
fundamentalist. I may not agree with his views, but I don't think he should
be forced to shut down his operation as I believe that is his freedom, now
matter where he is at. I don't have to visit the website and support it, but
his belief of 'freedom' i will support.

OK, done rambling, Samir you raised a great topic actually, and one that has
been nailing the Ubuntu mailing lists recently as well. Who knows, you may
have sparked an interest in someone to create their own solution for their
own niche ;)
