Sorry, I meant the big, obvious choice: no one's forcing you to install
this derivative version with the default filtering (if it is). And if
one wants a variant of the variant with different defaults, well,
that's doable too, though it may take a bit more effort than just
changing the defaults one disagrees with in an otherwise compatible
release. Really, this is no different than any default setting of a
distro that you think should be different, assuming they haven't found
some way to make it impossible to disable the filter. :-/
