[LUNI] Averatec compatibility

I recently installed Kubuntu on a 12" white Averatec laptop for someone,
and the wireless nic didn't work out of the box.

I went to the Averatec website and they don't even tell you what the nic

is in the spec sheet (2200 series, I assume?)!

So, you may end up having to setup the NDIS wrapper for that nic.

I'm debating between the 4 lb. 12" Averatec and the 17" that weighs 
twice as much.  Both AMD Turion.  Have not yet worked with Linux, but 
would like to try to run dual-boot on the new laptop. 

Are there any Linux compatibility issues with Averatec?  Any issues in 
general with Averatec?
