[LUNI] Gateway compatibility

While I don't know about that models compatibility with Linux I do know
that with my wife's Gateway laptop that we bought from Best Buy we've
had nothing but troubles. We did thankfully buy the extended warranty
from Best Buy because about two weeks ago we got the laptop back from
warranty repair (gone for 4 weeks) where they replaced the motherboard
and screen. She's had 3 major hardware issues with it. 1) machine would
spontaneously shut off. 2) screen would flicker. 3) the machine would
sometimes shock the user. The warranty repair has fixed 1 and 2 but we
are still having a problem with 3. We are going to call Gateway about it
because there is no reason why a machine should shock it's user. And the
shock is not pleasant.
