The 2wire requires 10bit not 16bit password which is on the bottom of your
AP. The CD also registers with the AP as the code sometimes shuts me down due
to too many multiple accesses? I run anti-virus and find no miscreants, but on
the web page I find a way to re-register the damn thing! They told me one
time that no CD is needed for Mac OSX! Go figure...

Does anyone have any experience setting up Linux (specifically Debian Sarge)
with SBC DSL? I tried it earlier this evening and got my system to talk to
the modem, but I wasn't able to do much about the settings.

Thanks for all the advice. I registered it using a windows machine last
evening, a process in which the install deposited all kinds of "stuff" on the PC.
I then unplugged the router and plugged it into my debian box. It came up
the first time and is working great.
