[LUNI] Ripping CDs to MP3s on Debian Linux

Like others have suggested you'll need to download and compile the lame
source (there doesn't appear to be a lame package in Debian anymore, at
least I thought there used to be).

Once you get the encoder going you may want to try out abcde (A Better
CD Encoder).  I've used it for a long time, it's tiny and doesn't bother
me.  It does all the requisite things an encoder should do: freedb
lookups, id3 tagging, encoding, etc.
