So if you do a good job, and get raises you can expect to 
get fired?

The trick is to do a mediocre job, and not get fired for 
being too good or too bad?

Circuit City could start a new ad campaign:

"At Circuit City we strive to give you kind of good 
service. Well, sort of."

If they are publicly traded, I'd sell the stock now. This 
is a very bad sign.
