I feel his pain.  I'm doing some work for a customer and it included buying 
new computers (with Vista since XP wasn't offered anymore).  I had such a 
hard time setting up the network.  Sometimes the Vista machines could access 
the NT 4 machine, but most of the time they couldn't.  Then the driver for 
the HP Laserjet (2015) doesn't exactly work, so I have to use one from 
another model (3015).  

At least the CentOS 4.4 server, that I snuck in (shh), works without a 
problem.
