When I first read that request a moment ago, I wondered if he was using
emacs, in which case the answer would be trivial (to someone who's
emmorized all the arbitrary keystrokes, anyway.  I sometimes think that
I should try emacs with a horribly mappings, but then I think about how
useless all reference material would be, and realize that it's probably
a dead end.  irony, eh?).

But it's for a GUI, so you're limited to the things the guys who coded
the program thought you'd need.  So sad...
