i think it's a good idea, but... businesses are willing to pay to go
to conferences and learn, most 'people' are not. it's definitely a
worthy cause and i'd be interested in it. :)
maybe organizing this conference in conjunction with another one,
partially to spread the word amongst attendees and partially to help
mitigate costs, would be a good idea.
