[LUNI] UnionFS/AUFS

Has anyone played around with unionfs or Aufs.  I was asked to setup a
system where it boots either off a ro media and needs to store
information on the file system.. be able to install packages if
needed, etc.

I think both of those packages allow you to do that, it seems like
aufs is the newer one.  Any thoughts/comments on
advantages/disadvantages things to look out for would be appreciated.
